Newcomers meet this promotion first, and it is the one that binds an account for longest. The mechanics are unremarkable — a match rate added on top of a first payment — but three figures decide whether the whole thing is worth activating: the percentage applied to the deposit, the ceiling that caps it, and the window in which opting in is still possible. A fourth issue then finishes the job for most players: the live-dealer rooms, which look like the obvious place to spend a bonus and are in fact the worst.

Figure one: the match rate against a franc deposit

A hundred-per-cent match on 80 CHF produces 80 CHF of bonus credit sitting beside 80 CHF of your own money. The two halves are not equivalent, which is where most misreadings start. Your own half remains liquid and can leave the account whenever the 20 CHF payout floor is met; the bonus half is locked behind turnover and is closer to a voucher than to money. Treating the combined figure as a bankroll is the single most common error at this stage.

Two clocks run in parallel and are often confused.
