Privacy Notice

Reviewed: August 2026

This notice covers one thing: what happens on crownplaycasino.info. The moment a partner link is followed, a different organisation takes over with its own privacy notice, its own retention schedule and its own legal basis. We have no visibility into that side and cannot answer for it.

Start with what is absent

There are no user accounts on this domain. No registration, no login, no newsletter list, no mandatory contact form. Names, addresses, dates of birth, identity documents and payment details are never requested here, because a guide has no use for them. That absence does more for privacy than any policy wording could, and it explains most of the answers below.

Analytics

Audience measurement runs through Google Analytics 4. It reports in aggregate — which pages get read, roughly how long for, what kind of device, which broad region — and produces no individual profile. Blocking it through browser settings or an extension removes nothing: every page stays fully readable. Should the measurement tool ever be replaced or supplemented, this page changes before the switch, not after it.

Cookies

Two categories exist here. Technically necessary entries keep the page behaving correctly, and the analytics identifier allows a single visit to be counted once rather than several times. Every mainstream browser can delete these, refuse them wholesale or allow them per site, and the setting takes effect immediately. Since nothing on this domain requires signing in, refusing cookies costs no functionality at all.

Server logs

Serving infrastructure records short technical entries — timestamp, requested resource, basic connection characteristics. They exist for security and fault-finding, are not used to build profiles, and are overwritten on the hosting provider's ordinary cycle. No visitor database is maintained on our side.

The parameter in a partner link

Clicking a marked button sends an origin identifier to the operator so that the visit can be attributed. It carries no personal data about the person clicking. What happens after that point — account creation, identity verification, transaction records — is governed entirely by the operator's own notice, which is worth reading before any form is completed.

Recipients and transfers

Exactly two flows leave this site: aggregate statistics to the analytics provider, and the origin identifier described above. There are no advertising networks, no social media widgets and no third-party tracking pixels embedded here, and no data is sold or rented to anyone. Because the services involved operate internationally, processing may take place outside Switzerland.

Retention

Analytics data follows the provider's retention window and is deleted automatically at the end of it. Log entries are short-lived by design. Nothing is kept on the basis that it might become useful later.

Rights under Swiss law

For readers in Switzerland the revised Federal Act on Data Protection — the revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023 — applies. It provides for access to personal data being processed, correction of inaccurate entries, deletion, and objection to processing. Because this site stores nothing that identifies a person, requests of that kind are in practice directed at the analytics provider or, after an account exists, at the operator. The supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Readers in the European Union

Anyone visiting from an EU member state can additionally rely on the GDPR, which grants comparable rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — together with the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in their own country. The two regimes overlap substantially; where they differ, the more protective one governs the request.

Making a request

Privacy questions reach the editorial desk through the channels listed on the contact page. They are handled with the same priority as factual corrections: no ticket system, no chain of forms, and a specific answer rather than a template.

Under-18s

The content is intended for adults and is not directed at minors. As no personal data is collected from anyone, no collection of children's data arises either.

Changes

Amendments are published here with a date. Anything substantial — a new measurement tool, a new recipient — is flagged at the top of the page before it takes effect.

Reading any privacy notice quickly

Three questions get you most of the way through a document like this one. What is collected, who else receives it, and how long does it stay? A notice that answers all three in specific terms is usually trustworthy; one that answers in categories such as certain information and selected partners is usually hiding the interesting part.

Cookie sections deserve the same treatment. The distinction that matters is between entries a site cannot function without and entries that exist to observe behaviour — and the second group should always be refusable without breaking the page. Data minimisation is the underlying principle: information never collected cannot leak, cannot be subpoenaed and cannot be sold, which is why this site keeps its own collection as thin as it does.

What the operator holds, and how to protect it

An account at Crownplay produces a substantially larger data footprint. The operator needs identity and contact details for verification, retains transaction history because financial rules require it, and logs technical details of logins and devices so that unfamiliar access can be spotted. Typical onward recipients are payment processors, document-checking services, and regulators or banks acting on a formal request. The exact list belongs in the operator's own privacy notice, and access or deletion requests concerning that data go to its support team rather than to this site.

On the player's side the effective measures are unglamorous. Use a password that exists nowhere else, switch on two-factor confirmation in the account settings, and avoid logging in from devices belonging to other people. A session left open on a device you no longer control is closed fastest by changing the password rather than by hoping. And before uploading identity documents, check that the connection is encrypted — for a regulated operator that is the floor, not a feature.
