Somebody pays for every free guide on the internet. On this domain it is the operator, indirectly, through tracked links — and a reader is entitled to know that before weighing anything else on the site. This page sets out the mechanism, the places a partner link appears, and the parts of the editorial process that the arrangement does not reach.
The mechanism, plainly
Buttons pointing to Crownplay carry an identifier. If a reader follows one and later opens an account, the operator may pay a commission. There is no second revenue stream: no display network, no paid placements inside articles, no sponsored posts, no sale of traffic data, and no arrangement under which criticism can be removed for money.
What it costs the reader

Why honesty is the commercially rational choice

The practical consequence is visible in the review: the weak points are set in the same size type as the strengths, because a guide that finds nothing wrong is not useful enough to return to.
